a young Entrepreneur from Lenasia Johannesburg thought of an idea on how to grow the Hindu community, that's when a spark hit, and the idea came to his head why not form a Hindu Burial Society, whereby all Hindus contribute on a monthly basis to prepare for the day that they depart earth.

But there were many obstacles facing this new idea, a lot of negativity surrounded the idea and at the time Preyalan was still a young man and no one took an interest. Years later in 2009 Preyalan with the help of a few good people put the whole idea into perspective, sorted out all legal issues which surrounded the idea....and finally the Hindu United Burial Society was formed.

It took a while for people to bite into the idea by contributing, but nevertheless we are growing slowly but surely. I think the main reason for people not biting into the idea, is because many societies were formed in the past similar to the Hubs, but never succeeded either because the people who ran the society mishandled the money or people were to afraid of investing in the society or there was no unity.
That's why Hubs was formed, to bring about Unity to all Hindus.
Theres a lot we would like to do for the community, but it can only happen with unity and trust.
We plan on doing a lot of service to humanity, we started doing Seva on a small scale and wish to grow to new heights. There are lot of people, animals that are suffering out there, we sometimes just turn a blind eye to it, or we see it around the world and say shame, but in our own backyard there are so many suffering. If we can make a difference why not do it.
Our goal is to grow our database and the more it grows, the more we can do for the community.
